    Structural Graduate Engineer - Ipswich


    Due to a healthy workload, we are looking to appoint a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our Ipswich office.  You will work within a structures team on high profile and complex new build and refurbishment building structures, using the most up to date software modelling tools.

    You will have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and be a self-starter with excellent communication and organisation skills. You will be a good team player who will enjoy working as part of a dynamic, growing team.  You will be given excellent training and support for Chartership.

    Job Responsibilities

    Outline of General Duties :

    • Undertaking the role as Design Manager when appointed.
    • Assist in the operation of an Engineering cost centre for your office
    • Liaise with clients and discuss design/technical solutions with other team members, stakeholders including technical & non-technical Clients.
    • Ensure appointed projects are executed in accordance with time frames and briefs
    • Prepare calculations, drawings, details, specifications, and reports for a wide range of projects, structures, and materials
    • Ensure that all calculations & drawings are checked by a Chartered Engineer
    • Ensure the implementation of Company policies
    • Assist in achieving targeted revenues from current and new customers

    Expected Qualifications :

    • Be an Engineering Graduate (BSc, BEng, MSc, MEng) with – 0-3 years experience
