Our team has delivered the full structural and civil engineering design for this project, with key elements including:
- Basement leisure suiteConstructed in reinforced concrete, incorporating a swimming pool and leisure facilities. Secant piled walls were designed to support the excavation.
- SuperstructureThe upper levels are being built using load-bearing masonry and precast concrete slabs, with structural steelwork designed to manage wide spans and open-plan layouts.
- Civil engineering designSite levels and below-ground drainage were engineered to suit multiple access points and integrate with the surrounding infrastructure.
Our latest site visit shows the structural frame and form of the building now well underway, with scaffolding in place as external walls, façades, and internal layouts take shape. The scale of the project is becoming clear, with key features such as large glazed openings and a feature rooflight already visible.
With construction ongoing, JMS Engineers remain closely involved, ensuring the design intent is realised safely and efficiently. Beechwood House promises to be a standout development in St. George’s Hill, combining luxury design with forward-thinking engineering.
