The brief

Volunteer ambulance station

Engineering response

Safe structural openings

During this project, our structural engineers identified non-load-bearing walls for safe demolition and recommended installing structural steel frames to ensure the building's integrity. By incorporating galvanised steel beams and reinforced columns anchored to existing masonry, we will create safe, spacious openings for ambulance access.

Delivery detail

Temporary support and compliance

Our approach ensures full compliance with British Standards, while using temporary supports during construction to maintain the structure's safety throughout.
