Daniel Staines

Director

Daniel’s particular interests embrace refurbishment and new build medium rise steel and concrete framed buildings and his ambitions thrive on delivering complex structures. Daniel has continued to develop his Engineering skills whilst managing a creative, expert Civil and Structural Engineering resource. He created JMS in 1997 from experience and a wish to combine the creativity of the architectural eye with the innovation of the engineers’ technical skills; then to wrap both in a passion to deliver the ultimate service for investors, owners and developers.

Mark Weston

Group Managing Director

Mark joined JMS in 2017, and with over 20 years’ experience has technical responsibility for interpreting, organising, coordinating and executing projects. He has extensive knowledge in the preparation of technical specifications, fee proposals & appraisals, and managing design teams in developing complete designs that compliment architectural creativity and facilitate ease of construction. Mark is a keen skier and when not at work can be found at the Norfolk Snow Sports Club, the Hemel Snow Centre, or in the French resort of Tignes with his family.

Anna-Maria Staines

Director

As a dynamic and accomplished professional, Anna-Maria wears many hats within the JMS family. Her diverse roles include Group Board Director, Head of HR, and Director of JMS Legacy, where she leverages her leadership skills and knowledge to drive growth and success across the board. With a keen eye for personnel development and a passion for empowering teams, Anna-Maria ensures the continued evolution of JMS Legacy and its portfolio companies.

Rousos Rousopoulos

Associate Director, Mayfair

With over 14 years of experience in consulting and construction of all types of building structures from concept to completion, Rousos is a Chartered Structural Engineer who has spent much of his career working for London based engineering consultancies. Rousos is highly experienced in the design and build of modular buildings, light gauge steel, temporary works, roads and drainage.

Lynn Clancy

Associate Director

Lynn has an extensive Civil/Structural engineering consulting and constructional background, having worked in a number of differing sized consultancies in the UK and with large multi-national institutions in the Middle East. He combines technical skills as an experienced “hands on” Chartered Structural Engineer with a keen focus on achieving the business and client commercial interests whilst delivering a quality product on time. He is committed to effective project delivery and quality of design output without compromising program and budget constraints.

Bradley Aldridge

Commercial Operations & Business Development Manager

Bradley joined JMS in December 2019 as Business Development Manager. Having qualified from the Cambridge College of Art and Technology he worked in the printing industry for twenty eight years building and driving business growth through product and service excellence. He has a track record of business growth and led a team to develop a new division for a global company that grew from £100k pa to £16.4m pa where he headed projects as a six sigma champion. Also experienced in working for smaller businesses, Bradley has lead growth and implemented expansion strategies by maximising untapped, latent potential and developing new revenue streams to improve sales, profit and most importantly client satisfaction. Bradley brings to the JMS team vast and varied commercial experience that will help develop the JMS Group still further by working alongside the very talented team of skilled and experienced engineers and group employees.

Joseph Staines

Associate & Head of Finance

Joseph joined the JMS team in January 2013. Leading the Finance team, Joseph is responsible for the delivery of business services such as Accounting, Management Reporting, Due Diligence, Analysis and Forecasting. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Hons degree in Criminology from The University of Hull. The degree has given Joseph the critical thinking, analytical and communications skills that are essential for a role in Engineering.

Ben Norman

Started out more than 20 years ago as a trainee technician at a Norwich based Civil Engineering Consultancy Studying an HNC in Civil Engineering. In 2010 I joined JMS, delivering housing estate designs for medium sized and major housing developers and since 2016 I have been offering a civil engineering service from our London office. Throughout my career I have always tried to maintain an element of creativity within my designs whilst ensuring that they are within the parameters of standards and guidelines. In my spare time I enjoy football, tennis and snow boarding.

David Brunning

Associate

David started with JMS first in November 2015 and has grown through the company into his current role as Associate. Providing technical services from pre-planning, to construction design, he enjoys working with local developers and planning consultants on unique projects. David is a keen supporter of STEM activities in local schools on a fortnightly basis as part of the JMS Free Friday initiative. Following a busy day at the office, he enjoys being part of various music and singing groups.

Max Hambling

As a chartered engineer with the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), Max’s approach to engineering revolves around delivering structural solutions that prioritise safety, efficiency, and practicality, all while ensuring cost-effectiveness. Max is passionate about enabling our clients to unlock the full potential of their buildings. What truly fuels his passion is seeing the evolution of a concept from a sketch on paper to a tangible space where people live, work, or have fun! Being part of this transformative process is very rewarding.
