JMS Consulting Engineers introduce new transport services under latest hire Andrew Burnley
April 26, 2022 NewsJMS Civil & Structural Consulting Engineers, one of the UK’s leading independent engineering firms, recently welcomed new hire Andrew Burnley to their Nuneaton office. Andrew will take the lead on the group’s latest service offering providing Transport Statements and Transport Assessments to support clients’ planning applications.
Strengthening the JMS service offering
The addition of a pre-planning Transport solution alongside JMS existing portfolio will bolster the Civil & Structural engineering company’s reputation as a full-service provider.
“We are pleased to launch the pre-planning Transport Services and for Andrew Burnley to be heading this up” said JMS’ Civils Production Director Bhavin Parmar.
“This will provide a “one-stop-shop” for our clients to appoint with pre-planning requirements combined with our existing Flood Risk Assessment and SuDS Strategy Reports services ensuring a co-ordinated approach” he explained.
Andrew brings a wealth of experience having previously worked for engineering consultancies and National Housing Developers. He was responsible for the engineering aspects of multiple residential developments, some consisting of over 500 dwellings. This experience, alongside his background in the design and assessment of site drainage, junctions, transport assessments and travel plans, made him an obvious candidate for the role.
“I’m looking forward to getting back into design work whilst also making using of the management experience gained during my previous role at a national housebuilder” Andrew confirmed.
“The opportunity to set up the new Transport Planning service at JMS and work across a broad range of sectors was one of the main factors that attracted me to JMS”.
