JMS Engineers announces change in leadership

JMS Engineers has two new Managing Directors as founder, Daniel Staines, hands over the reins to Andy Kenyon and Mark Weston to drive the business through the next period of growth.
Since creating the business in 1997, Daniel, supported by wife Anna-Maria and more recently, Andy and Mark, has turned JMS into one of the UK’s leading independent civil and structural engineering firms. Daniel remains part of the team, available for guidance and support, whilst leading several projects within the business. Anna-Maria Staines remains in her post as Director and will continue to shape the company’s strategic objectives and policies.
Andy Kenyon and Mark Weston joined JMS, and the Senior Management Team, in 2010 and 2017 respectively. Both Andy and Mark have extensive experience and knowledge in their respective fields of civil and structural engineering. They have managed large teams of engineers and contractors over the years and are very successful at leading high performing teams.
Daniel Staines, explains: “25 years has flown by and a lot has happened during that time. The company has matured and grown significantly and it has exciting plans for the future. It’s now time for fresh eyes and energy to drive the next phase of growth. Andy and Mark have been with me for years and I know they have the skills and ambition to realise our objectives.”
Andy Kenyon adds: “It’s a huge honour to be Joint Managing Director at JMS. Under Daniel’s leadership, we have built a hugely reputable consultancy with strong foundations for growth. I’m confident that Mark and I can continue to build on this success. We have an excellent team in place and clear, achievable goals.”
Mark Weston agrees: “Now is the time to build on all that JMS has achieved over the last 25 years, and provide even more value-adding services to our clients. We have an excellent reputation in the areas that we serve. We hope to expand our coverage over the coming months and years, whilst maintaining the high standards people have come to expect from us.”
