JMS supports fledgling businesses with new Dream Hatcher innovation programme

October 8, 2020 News

Opening in Ipswich this winter, Dream Hatcher is offering free office space, broadband, phones, meeting rooms, mentoring and more to fledgling businesses looking to take the next step in their growth.

Dream Hatcher’s innovation programme, created and sponsored by JMS Group, is designed to help fledgling businesses by offering free facilities, expert advice and support to drive them through the next stage of their growth.

And, in an unusual approach from most incubator businesses, Dream Hatcher is not requesting an equity stake in any of the businesses they support.

Dream Hatcher is looking for new companies with bright, innovative ideas and ambitious plans for growth. Any business can apply to take up residence at the modern office in Orion Court in Great Blakenham, Ipswich, providing they meet the following criteria:

  • Less than one year old
  • Not a subsidiary company
  • No other trading address (unless a home office)
  • Maximum of 2 Principals
  • Not a competitor of any other Dream Hatcher tenants
  • A robust plan for future profitable growth of at least £100k p/a

Businesses can apply via the Dream Hatcher website www.dreamhatcher.co.uk. Applications will be evaluated by a panel of partners, with finalists invited for a discussion to look in more detail at the business plan and identify how the panel of partners can support to that business. An offer letter and contract will be issued to successful applicants.

Creators, JMS Group, began in 1997 with a civil and structural engineering business, which is now national and has grown throughout 2020, despite the uncertainty. The Group has numerous subsidiary businesses and a proven track record of entrepreneurial success.

Daniel Staines, the founder of JMS Group, and the driving force behind Dream Hatcher, has brought together the panel of experienced partners to consult, mentor and support the fledgling businesses. He explains: “The current global pandemic has shown that now, more than ever, we must work together and support each other. We want to use our capital, experience and connections to do our bit for entrepreneurs with the most potential. We are excited to see what the first cohort will achieve.”
