Farnborough Road - Six storey residential development

We are excited to see construction nearing completion of our 6-storey residential development located on the A325 Farnborough Road roundabout, Farnborough, Hampshire, for which JMS provided the structural and civil design.  The development is a fully reinforced concrete framed structure utilising SISMO building technology.

The complication of building a basement the full footprint of the busy roundabout utilising, a combination of sheet piles and a CFA piles to form the boundary retaining walls, was overcome by working closely with the Local Authority to agree the AIP and construction management plan.

Once complete the development will provide 62 one and two-bed apartments each with basement car parking.
