Furze Street Development, Tower Hamlets, London
The project consists of the constructing of 3No. reinforced concrete framed medium rise apartment buildings within a tight site located within the Tower Hamlets Area of London.
The building was constructed off a series of piled foundations supporting RC ground beams, which in turn supported the RC frame structure. All concrete design works on the project was designed using the latest finite element analysis software to provide an efficient flat slab frame.
The final floor of each block was constructed using rendered blockwork walls and timber framing to reduce foundation loading while maintaining a robust construction.
